PG Diploma In Palaeography and Conservation of Manuscripts

Eligibility for Admission

Bachelors Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Relaxation for SC/ST as per University norms.

Mode of Selection

Selection will be made on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the University of Kerala.

Programme Structure and Duration

The programme extends over a period of 12 months consisting of two semesters including the examinations.

Examinations and Evaluations

Examinations and Evaluations will be as per the general regulations of the University adopted for the PG Diploma Programme. For each course, 40% of the total marks will be allotted to continuous assessment and 60% for the end semester exam. There should be a project submission and a Viva-voce in the second semester for 200 marks. Answers can be written either in Malayalam or in English.

Tuition Fee : Rs. 5000/-
Caution Deposit : Rs. 1000/- DDF : Rs. 2500/-
Examination Fee (Rs. 500/- per paper) : Rs. 3500/-
Fee for subsequent appearance per paper : Rs. 500/-
