Dr. R. B. Sreekala completed her graduation in Malayalam Language & Literature from University of Kerala in 1995. She completed her Post Graduation in Malayalam Language & Literature from Department of Malayalam, University of Kerala in 1997 with First Rank. She cleared the NET & JRF conducted by UGC in 1999. Her Ph.D Degree was awarded in 2006 under the supervision of Dr. V.S. Ramakrishnan from Department of Malayalam, University of Kerala. She published five books with ISBN. She has more than 75 articles in various UGC listed journals,peer reviewed journals, other popular journals, magazines and in books. Dr. R.B. Sreekala presented several papers in various National, International and State Level Seminars/Webinars and Workshops. . She worked as HSST (Senior) Malayalam in Govt. HSS Kilimanor from January 2005 to June 2006. She worked as a faculty of Malayalam Language and Literature in various Government Colleges in Collegiate Education Department from 2006 to 2020. She is a member in various Academic councils and Board of Studies. She was recognized as Research Guide in Malayalam Language & Literature, University of Kerala since 2010. Five (5) Students awarded Ph D under her supervision and now she has Seven (7) number of ongoing research students. She was awarded N.V. Smaraka Vaijnanika Award on 2010 from Kerala Bhasha Institute and P.R. Karma Chandra Award on 2016 from Yuvakala Sahiti for Literary studies in Malayalam. She has done and doing many academic and public speeches in different programs. She has done many talks based on Malayalam Language and Literature in All India Radio.She joined as Professor in Malayalam in the Dept.of ORI &MSs Library on16/03/2020
